7 steps to Social Media Marketing



This is all about using the social media networks to sell a product or service. A platform that is very much relevant today.  
Many media platforms have data analytics tool built in to track the ad campaigns – its success, and progress. Companies use the social media to tap into stakeholders, current and new customers, employees, journalists, general public etc.
The first step - is to understand what you really want. You need to have all the ingredients to cook a nice recipe. It should feed a lot of people, it has to be edible   and that no one is allergic to it. Hence create a goal, make sure it is attainable,
Second step - Brands should never take on social media channels with current marketing strategy. Try and choose those channels, which are relevant to you and your brand’s goals.
Third step – Take a step back and analyze the social media
Fourth step - Before you create content investigate your competitors. Find new ways to see content by analyzing what makes your competitors successful. Build engaging Social Media Content which is important for your marketing strategy and also plan out the content to build effective theme.
Fifth step -You have to create content to fit your brand’s identity. Avoid unpopular demographics without a strategy in place. Find a perfect balance between target content and not being overly promotional
Sixth step - The idea is to engage the reader with the social media network and to discuss, converse, and share content. It is important to gain respect as a brand by being present for your audience.
Seventh step - Track your efforts by continuously analyzing. There is tool that will help you calculate which post, message, or has tag is the best.
